Four Bangladeshi expatriates were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Qatar on Friday.
Sources of Bangladesh Embassy in the country confirmed the news.
The incident happened when the expatriates’ vehicle hit a private car from behind on Al Shamal highway at 5pm, leaving two dead on the spot.
The deceased were identified as Md Shakil, Md Usuf Matabbar, Md Rahat and Md Sirajul Islam. Shakil and Usuf hailed from Narayanganj while Rahat from Sreemangal and Md Sirajul Islam from Brahmanbaria.
Rahat was buried in Abu Hamour Graveyard in the country. The rest three bodies have been kept in Doha Hamad Hospital.
Severely injured Md Jamal Uddin and Habibur Rahman are undergoing treatment in Hamad Hospital in Qatar.
Md Mustafijur Rahman, Charge The Affairs of Bangladesh Embassy, said completing namz-e-janaza of other three bodies, their bodies have to be sent to their family members in Bangladesh.
