Gopalganj road accident kills 3

Three people were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Khulna Highway at Pona bus stand under Kashiani upazila in Gopalganj at around noon on Tuesday.
The deceased are MA Hasib, 50, a resident in Faridpur district, Nabir Sheikh, 22, of Kashiani upazila and Abdur Rahim, 20, of the same upazila in Gopalganj.
Vatiapara highway police said that the accident occurred in Pona bus stand area when a bus hit a motorcycle and a bicycle.
Motorcyclist Hasib died on the spot while bicyclist Nabir Sheikh and Abdur Rahim were declared dead at Kashiani Upazila Health Complex by the on duty doctor Md Hafij.
