Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal lost the toss and was sent to bat first by Ireland in the first of the three one-day internationals at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
The home side has opted for three pacers along with two specialist spinners.
Taskin Ahmed would be leading the Tigers pace unit alongside Ebadot Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman while in the spinning department Shakib Al Hasan would be accompanying Nasum Ahmed.
