Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji is currently basking in the glory of her latest release, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway.
The film highlights the performance range of Rani, who brings a nuanced sense of vulnerability to Debika (her character in the film) in MCVN.
The actress is also a mother to daughter Adira in real life. Recently, she opened up on Adira, watching the trailer of Mrs Chatterjee and bursting into tears watching that.
ADIRA IS VERY YOUNG, HENCE…
In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, she revealed that Adira is still not well equipped to differentiate herself as a mother and as an actor. Rani disclosed, “Adira has not seen the film. She actually saw the trailer.” When asked if he would make her watch the film anytime soon, Rani added, “It is too early for her to see the film, she is still very young.”
ADIRA IS UNABLE TO SEPARATE ME AS AN ACTOR AND A MOM
Rani continued, “Adira is not able to associate me as an actor separately and me as a mother. So, if I am crying onscreen, she feels my mom is hurt and she is crying. She cannot take that. Maybe, another 3-4 years before she is able to do that differentiate that.”
Rani has been able to keep Adira away from social media and paparazzi hustle culture. Commenting on it, she shared, “It is important but we are aware that once Adira grows, she will have a mind of her own and then we cannot do what we are doing with her now.”
Rani is yet to announce her next project. She is currently listening to scripts and is yet to sign something on dotted lines, she revealed.
