Popular Bangladeshi actor Ferdous Ahmed has been appointed as a brand ambassador of Bangladesh Safe Food Authority (BFSA).
The actor signed an agreement as a goodwill ambassador on Thursday.
“I have been appointed as a brand ambassador for a government organization for the first time. I am doing this as per my responsibility. I will feel great If I can contribute to food safety in the country. I am optimistic that I will be able to perform my task properly with the authorities of BFSA,” he said.
Md Abdul Qayyum Sarkar, Chairman of Bangladesh Safe Food Authority, said Ferdous agreed to work with BFSA with simple condition. The actor signed the deal for one year. The agreement may be extended in future, he said.
Md Abdul Qaium, chairman of Bangladesh Safe Food Authority, said “BFSA wants to alert for healthy foods to every citizen and teach them through training. In this case, actor Ferdous will be able to help us.”
