Raped DU student released from DMCH

The Dhaka University student who was raped by a drug addict in the capital’s Kurmitola area on Sunday night has been released from Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday morning.
The girl, who was undergoing treatment at One Stop Crisis Centre of DMCH, left the hospital with her family members at around 12:00pm.
The victim was released from the hospital as she showed significant improvement, said DMCH’s Director Brigadier General AKM Nasiruddin.
Earlier, the second-year DU student was raped in Dhaka’s Kurmitola area on Sunday night.
