Man killed in Jatrabari road accident

A 50-year-old man was killed as a bus hit him at Kajla in the city’s Jatrabari area on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Alauddin Molla, a car driver. He was from Mehendiganj upazila in Barishal.

 

A Dhaka-bound bus of Nagar Paribahan hit him at about 9:30am, leaving him in a critical condition, said sub-inspector Anwar Hossain of Jatrabari Police Station.

Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared him dead at about 10:30am.
