Motorcyclist killed in city road crash

A motorcyclist was killed after a truck hit his motorcycle at Fakirapul in the capital on early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Jalil, 38, was a Pharmacy trader, hailing from Sakhipur upazila in Shariatpur.
Sweety, wife of victim, said that the truck hit the motorcycle on which Jalil was riding to go to Matijhil at 3:00 am, leaving him injured.
Later, locals took the injured to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) but he died this morning while undergoing treatment.
Abdul Khan, assistant-sub-inspector (ASI) of DMCH Police Outpost, confirmed the matter, adding that the body has been kept at the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
