Three killed in Keraniganj chemical factory fire

At least three people were killed in a fire at a chemical factory in Gobarbagh area under Keraniganj on the outskirts of Dhaka early Tuesday.

The incident took place at about 4:00am and was brought under control at about 6.15am, fire service officials said.

 

Six units of the fire service worked to douse the fire, said Rashed Bin Khaled, an official of the control room.

The reason of the fire could not be known immediately, he said.
