Youth stabbed dead in Dhaka’s Uttara

A youth was stabbed to death in Uttara area in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Thursday night.
The deceased is Md Limon, 18, of Uttara area, said Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost.
Limon’s friend Md Lyon told reporters at DMCH that one of his friends locked in an altercation with the victim while Limon went for a walk on Road 9 of Sector 5 at about 7:30pm.
He said that the friend left the place after the altercation and returned with two others, stabbed Limon and fled the scene leaving him critically wounded.
Lyon said that they rushed the victim to a nearby hospital from where he was shifted to DMCH.
Inspector Bachchu Mia said that doctors at DMCH declared Limon dead at about 10:00pm.
