Pro-AL White Panel sweeps Dhaka Bar Association election

Ruling Awami League backed Sammilito Ainjibi Samannaya Parishad’s panel, known as White Panel, has won a landslide victory in the Dhaka Bar Association election, bagging 21 posts out of 23.
The panel’s Abdur Rahman Hawlader has been elected as the President and Anwar Shahadat Shawon as General Secretary for the session of 2024-25.
Chief election commissioner advocate Mokhlesur Rahman Badal declared the results at the night following Friday.
Earlier, 9,690 members out of total 21,208 casted their ballots in the two-day polls that took place on Wednesday and Thursday.
