Army to be deployed if necessary: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that police and paramilitary forces are currently conducting operations to arrest the culprits involved in robbing two banks in Ruma and Thanchi upazilas of Bandarban.

“We will deploy army if deemed necessary,” said the home minister during a press conference addressing the issue in Dhaka on Wednesday.
