Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecasts rain or thundershowers at different parts of the country in 24 hours starting from 9:00am on Monday.
‘Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,’ said a Met office bulletin.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, said a bulletin issued in the morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 36.7 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and Monday’s minimum temperature was 17.9 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded 29 millimeters at Satkhira.
The sun sets at 06.18am on Monday and rises at 5.43pm on Tuesday in Dhaka.
