The Cabinet Division issued a notification on Tuesday (May 21) announcing the state mourning on Thursday.
On this occasion, the national flag will be kept at half-mast in all government, semi-government and autonomous institutions, educational institutions, government and private buildings and Bangladesh missions abroad on Thursday.
Special prayers will be offered for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
