The ‘Cattle Special Train’ service, dedicated to transporting sacrificial animals for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, is set to operate from 12 June to 14 June.
The development came to light in a press conference organised by the Ministry of Railways on Tuesday.
Director General of Railways Sardar Shahadat Ali said six trains will run in three days in the western region while three trains will run in two days in the eastern region.
Two special trains will be operated on 12 June and one on 13 June to transport sacrificial animals in the eastern region, he added.
