Three people killed in Khulna road accident

Three people, including a driver, were killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and an engine-driven van in Paikgachha upazila of Khulna on Wednesday morning.
The deceased van driver was identified as Ismail, 60, while the identities of the two motorcycle riders are yet to be known.
Obaidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Paikgachha Police Station, confirmed the incident.
The motorcycle collided with a van coming from the opposite direction in the Shibbati area of Paikgachha in the morning, said OC Rahman.
Both vehicles involved in the collision have been seized, and the bodies were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for post-mortem examinations, he added.
