Former inspector general of police Benazir Ahmed’s wife Jissan Mirza and daughters submitted a petition seeking time to appear at Anti-Corruption Commission.
Sunday was the scheduled date for the ACC to interrogate Benazir’s wife, Jissan Mirza, and their daughters over illegal wealth.
ACC lawyer Khurshed Alam Khan confirmed about the time petition of Benazir family.
An ACC official said that they might get 15-day time following the petition as per law.
ACC would set a new date but the decision would be disclosed in the afternoon, he said.
Earlier, the ACC on Thursday fixed June 23 for Benazir to appear before the commission as he did not appear on the scheduled date for interrogation.
On May 28, the commission summoned Benazir to appear before it on June 6 and his wife Jissan Mirza and their daughters on June 9 to make statements on the allegations of amassing illegal wealth.
