BCL activists gather at Raju Memorial, many carrying sticks

The leaders and activists of ruling Awami League’s student wing, Bangladesh Chhatra League, gathered at the Raju Memorial Sculpture area on Dhaka University Campus Tuesday afternoon.
They began gathering at Raju memorial at about 2:15pm and many of them were seen wearing hamlets and carrying sticks, iron rods, cricket stumps and hockey sticks.
The BCL leaders and activists are holding the rally a day after clash between BCL and quota protesters on DU campus that left scores injured.
BCL president Saddam Hossain on Monday night announced the rally at Raju Memorial Sculpture for Tuesday afternoon.
