But Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, the director of the film, believes that the audience will enjoy the movie “Shonibar Bikel” soon, because the project has been made for the audience. The director thinks that the film won’t be stuck anymore. Not just “Shoniba Bikel”, no film of the country will be stuck.
Talking to a local media on Friday, Farooki said, “The first thing is that no movie can be withheld. Bangladesh has to come out of the culture of blocking films, the culture of shutting the mouth of the people and the media. Revolutions have happened for this change. We want freedom of expression; we don’t want to be confined in jail that is the main goal of this Anti-discriminatory Student Movement. Since this is the main goal of this movement, I have no doubt that this government agrees with the main goal.”
