About the project, Samira Khan Mahi said, “The story of the play “Doa” is amazing. I’ve played the role of a nurse in the drama. It was very challenging for me to portray my character in ‘Doa’, because the role that I’ve played in it has not been done before. Robiul Shikdar bhai is a calm and talented director. I have enjoyed a lot to work under his guidance. From day one, he gave me enough freedom to play my own way in developing my performance.”
“I have made the play “Doa” based on the life struggle of a nurse in this city. I think serving people and receiving prayers from them are great blessing. Samira Khan Mahi has played the role of a nurse in the project. Her time awareness, love of acting, persistence and understanding of the story to act in character impressed me greatly. An artiste can express his or her acting talent properly only by fully cooperating with the director and doing 100% as per the director’s instructions. Mahi did exactly that. She has done a great job”, director Robiul Shikder shared his feeling in this way.
