“If we follow the footsteps of Awami League, will we be able to stay in the country? We will have to meet the same consequence,” Fakhrul said while addressing a rally at Eidgah ground under Haripur Upazila of Thaugaon on Wednesday noon.
Accusing the Awami League of deliberately building Aynaghar to torture BNP and Jamaat men, Fakhrul said that the fascist and autocratic Hasina-led government killed at least 2,000 people, while many others have lost their hands, legs, and eyes in the recent movement.
He urged his party’s leaders and activists to win people’s support by sunning the path of repression and oppression to safeguard the student-led movement’s achievements.
