Two people killed in Dinajpur road accidents

Two people were killed in road accidents in Birampur and Parbatipur upazilas in Dinajpur district on Sunday.
In Parbatipur upazila, 70-year-old vegetable vendor Mohir Uddin was hit and killed by a truck in the early morning in Bhober Bazar area.
Local residents stopped the truck and handed it over to the police, said sub-inspector of Parbatipur police station Sohel Rana.
In Birampur upazila, around 12:30am on Sunday, a 45-year-old man was hit by a truck while returning home on his bicycle after closing his grocery shop.
The victim was Nur Alam, son of late Monsur Ali of village Bijul.
Sub-inspector Kamruzzaman of Birampur Police Station confirmed the accident.
