Ex-housing minister Mosharraf arrested

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Detective Branch on Sunday afternoon arrested former housing and public works minister Mosharraf Hossain from Basundhara Residential area in Dhaka in a murder case.

Confirming the matter, the DMP deputy commissioner for media and public relations Muhammad Talebur Rahman said that a team of the DB arrested Mosharraf Hossain at about 2:30 pm.

 

Talebur said that Mosharraf Hossain was arrested in a murder case filed over the allegation of murder during the student-led mass uprising.
