17 DUCSU leaders spend Tk 90 lakh in 9 months

Seventeen elected student representatives of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) have spent Tk 90.38 lakh in the first nine months (from March to December) since their tenures began in March last year.
Of the total amount, Tk 83,51,308 was spent from the allocation, sanctioned in the Dhaka University’s budget for the DUCSU. Rest Tk 6,84,508 came from various sponsors.
The information was revealed in a spending report, unveiled by the administrative wing of the DUCSU after its fourth executive meeting was held on Saturday.
