CUET student killed in road accident

A student of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), who sustained injury in a road accident in Litchubagan area on Chattogram-Kaptai highway in Chattogram on Saturday, succumbed to his injury at Intensive Care unit (ICU) in port city’s hospital on Monday morning while undergoing treatment.
The deceased was identified as Tahmid Chowdhury, was a student of computer engineering department in CUET.
Moshiul Haque, director of student welfare affairs in CUET, confirmed the matter.
He said, “A truck collided with a CNG, coming from opposite direction in the area on Saturday, leaving him injured”.
Later, locals took the injured to the hospital and died on Monday morning.
