2 killed in Mymensingh road accident

Two people were killed and another injured after a sand-laden truck hit another truck in Bharadoba Bus Station area of Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh early Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Amirul, 30, son of Majid, hailing from Netrokona district and Shamim, 35, son of Monir Uddin, from the same area.
The injured is identified as Ruhul Amin, 40, brother of Shamim.
According to local sources, the sand-laden truck hit another truck from behind on Dhaka-Mymensingh at 2:00 am, leaving duo dead on the spot and another injured.
Md Rafiqul Islam, sub-inspector of Bharadoba Highway Police, confirmed the matter to media.
