40 placed under quarantine as they had contact with coronavirus patient

Forty people have been kept in quarantine as they had close contacts with a person infected with the new coronavirus, Health Service Division secretary Md Ashadul Islam said on Monday.

The secretary came up with the information at a media briefing at conference room of cabinet division at the secretariat in the city this afternoon.
