2 youths killed in Barishal road accident

Two teenage boys were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a motorcycle in Joyshree area of Ujirpur upazila in Barishal on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Sajeeb Hossain, 17, son of Aklima Begum, hailing from Shikarpu Bandor of the upazila and Arafat Hossain, 17, son of Jamal Khan, from the same area.
According to locals, the truck collided with the motorcycle coming from opposite direction on which Sajeeb and Arafat were riding in the area, leaving Sajeeb dead on the spot and Arafat injured.
Later, locals took the injured to Ujirpur Upazila Healthe Complex where duty doctor declared him dead.
Jiaul Ahsan, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ujirpur Police Station, confirmed the matter.
