A hospital in Moghbazar area in the capital has been brought under lockdown on Tuesday after nine of its staff including doctors and nurses were tested positive for Covid-19, hospital sources said.

Two doctors, five nurses, a ward boy and a receptionist of Insaf Barakah Kidney and General Hospital in the capital were found coronavirus infected. All have been put at home quarantine and the hospital was brought under lockdown from Tuesday morning, Md. Sohrab Akand, Public Relations Officer of the hospital confirmed.

He said patients with fever, cold and cough were provided health services at the emergency department of the hospital and later two doctors of that section became Covid-19 infected. After that nurses and staffs were tested positive for coronavirus.

“Nine persons including doctors and nurses of our hospital have been get cotona infected,” Sohrab Akand mentioned.
