Bangladesh national cricket team batsman Mohammad Mithun was blessed with a daughter on Wednesday.

Both the newborn baby and its mother are good in health now and they are safe in the Square Hospital, confirmed by Mithun.

This is the second time when Mithun became a father as he also has an four-year-old boy.

Mithun becomes the father of a boy in 2016 and on Wednesday he becomes the father of a baby girl.

“Alhamdulillah, today at 1 pm afternoon, my daughter come into the world. My wife and child both are safe and sound. Everyone pray for them,’’ said Mithun.

The right-handed batsman also said that the delivery has happened a day before the doctors given time.

The Mithun couple has already named their baby daughter Alisha Mahrish.

‘’I am spending my time in the hospital beside them,’’ Mithun concluded.
