Envoy Group boss Kutubuddin Ahmed diagnosed with coronavirus

Kutubuddin Ahmed, the founder and chairman of the Envoy Group, have caught COVID-19.

He was admitted to the Square Hospital on Saturday after his coronavirus test result came back positive, Hamimur Rahman, general manager (Human Resource) of Envoy Textiles said on Monday night.

The founder of Sheltech had been suffering from fever for past few days.

His wife also tested positive for Covid-19.

Kutubuddin Ahmed is the chairman and founder of Sheltech and Envoy Group. These groups have garments, textiles and construction businesses.

He is the former President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and secretary general of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA).
