A mild earthquake jolted different parts of the country, including Sylhet and Chattogram on Monday evening.
Media reports revealed that a moderate earthquake struck India’s northeast region today.
The 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Manipur of India at 8.12 pm. Tremors were also felt in India’s Guwahati and other parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram.
Initial reports suggest the earthquake’s epicentre lay in Manipur, about 11 km southwest of Kakching in Manipur.
