2 die after drinking ‘toxic liquor’ in Bogura

Two people died after drinking ‘toxic liquor’ in Dhunat upazila of Bogura on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as Al-Amin, 30, son of Abdur Rashid, hailing from Iswarghat village at Kalerpara union of the upazila and Abdul Alim, 30, son of Hafijur Rahman, from the same area.
Kripa-Sindhu-Bala, officer-in-charge of Dhunat Police Station, confirmed the matter.
The OC also said Al-Amin died on Wednesday night at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital while Abdul Alim died in the morning at the same hospital.
