Jashore-4 MP Ranjit Kumar tests positive for Covid-19

Member of Parliament from Jashore-4 (Abhaynagar-Bagharpara) constituency Ranjit Kumar Roy tested positive for coronavirus.
He was found infected with the virus in the corona test at the Genome Center of University of Science and Technology (JUST) of Jashore on early Wednesday night.
Soon after, he was admitted to the isolation ward of Jashore Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
Jashore Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Abu Shaheen confirmed the matter.
The Civil Surgeon said that MP Ranjit Kumar Roy had been suffering from fever for several days. His samples were collected on Monday morning and sent to the lab for corona testing.
