The global death toll from the highly contagious Covid-19 stood at 414,107 while the number of confirmed cases reached 73,40,862 till Wednesday, according to latest data from worldometer.
While 36,19,383 patients have recovered from the disease, 33,07,372 are active cases, the source said.
According to source data, Brazil has reported 742,084 confirmed coronavirus cases and 38,497 deaths as of Wednesday.
Among other countries, the US has been the worst-hit with the highest recorded deaths of 114,151 patients and 20,45,715 confirmed cases, worldometer reported.
The UK has the second-highest death toll at 40,883, followed by Italy with 34,043, France 29,299 and Spain 27,136, according to Johns Hopkins University.
