A total of 3,761 corona infected patients have been diagnosed in the capital at 12:40pm till Wednesday, according to data from Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) website.
In Dhaka city, Mirpur is the hardest-hit area with 1,672 cases, IEDCR website reported.
Among other affected areas in the capital, Uttara has reported 859 cases of COVID-19, followed by Mohammadpur with 723, Mohakhali 617, Dhanmondi 601, Badda 358, Gulshan 314, Bashundhara 168, Shaymoli 156, Banani 144, Green Road 120, Sher-E-Bangla Nagar 114, Segunbagicha 88, Cantonment 82 and Vatara 81.
In the Coronavirus affected districts, Narayanganj has reported 5,741 cases, followed by Bogura with 4,227, Cumilla 4,167, Faridpur 3,593, Khulna 3,513, Sylhet 3,500, Coxbazar 3,112, Noakhali 2,766, Kishoreganj 1,866, Barisal 1,686, Chandpur 1,489, Jessore 1,303, Gopalganj 1,158, Kushtia 1,141, Madaripur 1,039, Rangpur 983, Dinajpur 675, Jhenaidah 661, Natore 386, Magura 303, Jhalokathi 242and Kurigram 149.
Dhaks is the worst-hit division with 38,324 cases while Chattogram is the second worst affected division with 12,927 cases.
Bangladesh has reported 2,751 coronavirus deaths and 117,202 recoveries from 213,254 cases since the virus emerged in the country on March 8.
