A total of 48,322 coronavirus cases have been detected in Dhaka division while Chattogram division has reported 14,506 cases in Bangladesh till Wednesday (Bangladesh Time 14:30), according to latest data from Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
Dhaka city has reported 3,902 cases till date. In Dhaka, Mirpur is the hardest-hit area with 1,672 cases, IEDCR website reported.
Among other corona affected areas in the capital, Uttara has reported 859 cases, followed by Mohammadpur with 723, Mohakhali 617, Dhanmondi 601, Mogbazar 413 Badda 358, Gulshan 314, Bashundhara 168, Azimpur 165, Agargaon 159, Shaymoli 156, Banani 141, Shantinagar 134, Ramna 131, Green Road 120, Sher-E-Bangla Nagar 114, Farmgate 98, Lalmatia 96, Segunbagicha 88, Cantonment 82, Vatara 81, Siddheshwari 73 and Baridhara 68.
In the Coronavirus affected districts, Narayanganj has reported 5,880 cases, followed by Cumilla with 5,594, Bogura 4,958, Faridpur 4,862, Khulna ,4,426, Sylhet 3,787, Coxbazar 3,431, Noakhali 3,195, Kishoreganj 1,995, Narshingdi 1,926, Barisal 1,686, Chandpur 1,856, Jessore 1,903, Rajbari 1,277, Gopalganj 799, Kushtia 1,675, Madaripur 832, Rangpur 1,539, Pabna 852, Joypurhat 762, Dinajpur 1,308, Jhenaidah 987, Chapainawabganj 487, Natore 544, Magura 464, Jhalokathi 242, Meherpur 188 and Kurigram 377.
Bangladesh has reported 3,267 coronavirus deaths and 141,750 recoveries from 246,674 cases since the virus emerged in the country on March 8.
