Two more retired doctors died from Covid-19 infections in Rajshahi on Sunday.
The deceased are Dr Aftab Uddin, 68, from the Rajshahi city and Dr Abdur Rahman, 65, from Ramnagar village at Nurullabad union in Manda upazila of Naogaon.
Both of them retired from Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) several years ago.
Aftab Uddin breathed his last at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the RMCH around 1:30 pm while undergoing treatment and Abdur Rahman, a former director of DGHS, passed away at the hospital around 3:00 pm.
Dr Saiful Ferdous, deputy director of the hospital, confirmed the matter to media.
