Man ‘commits suicide’ after stabbing wife, son in Gopalganj

A man killed himself after stabbing his wife and son at Ragunathpur village in Sadar upazila of Gopalganj on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Monir Molla, 55, hailing from the area.
The injured are identified as Tanjila Begum, 40, and her son Imdadul Molla, 22.
Confirming the news, Md Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gopalganj Sadar Polices Station, said that Monir locked in an altercation with his wife in the night. At one point, Monir stabbed his wife and son indiscriminately with a sharp weapon and later he committed suicide.
Later, locals took the injured to Goplaganj Sadar Hospital where duty doctor referred them to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) as their condition deteriorated.
