The health authorities on Thursday said another 2,443 patients have recovered, pushing Bangladesh’s total number of recoveries to 250,412.
Meanwhile, 36 more patients died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death tally to 4,859, the Director General of Health Services (DGHS) said in a press release.
Another 1,593 coronavirus patients are found in 24 hours, raising the total number of infections to 344,264.
In the last 24 hours, 93 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 13,673 samples.
Of the total sample tests, 11.65 percent tested positive in the past 24 hours, while 19.30 percent cases were detected from the total tests conducted so far, the release added.
Among the total infections, 72.74 percent patients have recovered, while 1.41 percent died so far since the first COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the country on March 8.
