Arms recovered in Cox’s Bazar’s Ukhia, 2 held

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) found existence of an arms factory in the Modhu Chora hill at Palongkhali union in Ukhia upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Friday evening.
RAB also arrested two workers of the factory and recovered three fire arms, two rounds of bullets and huge arms making materials from the factory.
The arrestees are identified as Anowar, 50, of Moheshkhali upazila and Ekhlas, 32.
Major Mehedi Hasan, deputy commander of RAB-15 in Cox’s Bazar, said a team of elite force conducted a raid at Modhu Chora hill of Palongkhali union and recovered huge weapons, and arrested two persons.
