The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four persons including actress Pori Moni and director Nazrul Islam Raj conducting raids at their respective residences in the capital on Wednesday evening.

RAB will hold media briefing at 4:30 pm today at the RAB Headquarters at  Kurmitola in Dhaka, a media report disclosed the matter.

After conducting a drive for several hours at Pori Moni’s residence, the RAB members took the actress to RAB headquarters for further interrogation at around 8 pm by a microbus.

Meanwhile, based on the information given by Pori Moni, RAB  conducted  ‍another drive at the residence of Raj Multimedia proprietor Nazrul Islam Raj and arrested him in the evening yesterday.

Mentionable, Pori Moni recently was widely discussed after accusing a businessman of attempting to rape and murder her at Dhaka Boat Club.
