5 get life term for killing Jubo League leader in Rajshahi

A Rajshahi court has sentenced five people to life term imprisonment and 20 others to different terms for killing a Jubo League leader in Rajshahi in 2018.

Judge of Rajshahi Speedy Trial Tribunal Anup Kumar pronounced the verdict on Sunday.

Isamil was stabbed to death by some BNP-Jamaat activists on December 30, 2018, the day of the Eleventh Parliamentary Election.

 

Later, the victim’s wife Bijli Begum filed a murder case with Godagari Police Station.
