Popular film actor of the 90s, Nayeem recently went through a bypass surgery on November 6 at a private hospital in the capital.

As the actor recovers, he has returned home recently. His wife, renowned film actress Shabnaz, confirmed the news through a Facebook status.

She wrote, “Alhamdulillah, thanks to the blessings of all of you, Naeem has returned home from the hospital in good health. May Allah keep you all healthy for your cooperation and support in this difficult time. Shabnaz also expressed her gratitude to the doctors of Evercare Hospital.”

The Shabnaz-Nayeem duo was popularized by eminent director Ehtesham’s film “Chandni”.

They appeared in many films, and the pair was one of the most popular ones in Dhallywood cinema. Both Shabnaz and Nayeem have been away from on screen appearances for many years.
