Three killed in Faridpur road crash

Three people were killed and 10 injured in a clash between a bus and a pick-up van at Vanga upazila of Faridpur district on Tuesday morning.
The accident took place in Purba Sadardi area on Dhaka-Barishal Highway at around 8:00 am.
The identity of the deceased couldn’t be known immediately.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Vanga Highway Police Station Ataur Rahman said: “A bus of Chandra Paribahan collided head-on with a pick-up that left two dead on the spot. Then another died while being taken to the hospital.”
Being informed, police rushed in and recovered the bodies and sent the injured to the hospital.
