The three-day and first ever Bangladesh Jewellery Expo-2022 at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital will conclude today (Saturday).
Plenty of visitors made it to the venue compound with festive mood sweeps the stalls at the fair which aims at branding the country’s ornaments and potentials of jewelers.
Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) has arranged the expo commemorating the birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The three-day exhibition is being held at halls 1, 2 and 3 of the ICCB.
Besides, various jewellers are giving attractive offers and discounts at the fair.
The fair organiser has arranged raffle draw for the visitors. The first prize will be Tk 10 lakh and second prize Tk 5 lakh. The 10 third prize winners will get Tk 1 lakh each. A separate raffle draw will be held for the journalists.
Uttam Banik, treasurer of BAJUS and chairman of the expo committee, said many expatriates visiting the expo were astonished at the acquisitive design and quality of local ornaments.
