2 more people burned while warming in fire die in Rangpur

Another two more people who suffered burn injuries while warming themselves from cold in fire-lit died at the Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH) on early Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Sabiha, 3, daughter of Babar Ali, hailing from Sundarganj upazila in Gaibandha and Alam Mia, 35, son of Siddiqur Rahman, from Edilpur village of Sadullapur upazila in the same district.
Confirming the news, assistant Professor Dr M A Hamid, head of the Department of Burn and Plastic Surgery at the RMCH, said that the deceased Sabiha was admitted to the hospital on December18 and Alam Mia on December 20.
He also said at least 26 others with burn injuries were admitted to the hospital in the 11 days.
