The primary and mass education ministry secretary Farid Ahmed on Thursday said that the new textbooks for 2024 year would be sent to the upazilas across Bangladesh within this November.
For 2024, the textbooks for the classes II and Class III have been prepared following the new national curriculum, he said while attending a workshop held in Cox’s Bazar on the day virtually, said a press release issued by the ministry.
Farid Ahmed also said that the new textbooks would be given to all the children of primary level on the first day of 2024.
In 2025, the textbooks for the classes of IV and V would be prepared following the new curriculum, he also said.
Since 2010, the government has been distributing free textbooks among the students of Classes I to Class IX.
