The district team became champion by defeating the Dhaka District Sports Association with a score of 37-22 goals in the final match held at Paltan’s Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Wednesday, reports a press release.
The winning team took a lead of 16-08 goals in the first half of the match and Aungtaimong Marma of the team scored highest 14 goals in the final and was named the competition’s best player.
