Monirul Islam removed from SB

Chief of police’s Special Branch (SB) Md Monirul Islam has been removed from his post.
He has been attached to the police headquarters.
Monirul Islam was removed from SB by an order, signed by home ministry’s deputy secretary Md Mahabur Rahman Sheikh.
Public security division of the home ministry confirmed this on Tuesday.
He had been appointed as the chief of police’s Special Branch from Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime in March 14, 2021.
